Zach Wilson was one of the best youngsters to come out of college. The Jets had high hopes for the youngster who, so far, has only managed to disappoint them.
Wilson potentially had one of the worst games of his life as the Jets QB threw multiple interceptions. The Patriots secured a dramatic 10-3 late in the game.
The game lacked any serious offense as both sides struggles to get the ball in the end-zone. Wilson probably had the worst game in the squad as the QB completed just 9 of 22 passes for 77 yards and no touchdowns.
The Jets QB also became a victim of a masterclass by legendary coach Bill Belichick, who has never lost to the Jets in more than a decade.
Wilson’s teammates also turned on their QB DE John Franklin Myers in a tweet criticizing the 23-year-old. Myers wasn’t too happy with Wilson and got more irked when he further didn’t accept any responsibility for the loss in the post-match press conference.
The 23-year-old showed glimpses of arrogance in his post-match press conference when asked if he let the defense down to which the QB replied a plain “No.”

The Jets had no offense in the game and fingers were being pointed at Zach Wilson for not being able to get something out of the Jets’ attack. Although Wilson is still very young and has a long way to go, he will have to improve considerably if he does not wish to trade his place with backup QB Joe Flacco.
NFL Twitter went completely viral after the game ended and many took to social media to vent out and call out the Jets QB for subpar performance.
Zach Wilson was called the worst QB in the league and many asked for him to be replaced with Joe Flacco until he gets his form back. The Jets have a talented team but the QB is supposed to be the anchor of the team and Wilson is not doing that job properly.
