Zachary Kapono Wilson is a talented young quarterback from Utah. He played college football at BYU and impressed one and all with his top-class performances. In fact, he was named the bowl game MVP on two occasions.

He was selected second overall by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft. Although he didn’t post incredible numbers last season, several top experts have high hopes for him for the upcoming season as they reckon that he has what it takes to be a star QB.

However, Zach has actually ended up making the headlines for off the field stuff and recently, something similar transpired. Zach’s ex-girlfriend recently posted a comment on social media regarding the QB’s love life and as expected, they went crazy viral.

Abbey Gile, who is no longer in a romantic relationship with Zach, accused the QB of being the actual “homie hopper.” When someone called Abbey a homie hopper for allegedly dating the QB’s best friend after breakup, she replied by saying that Zach was dating his mother’s best friend and reminded everyone who is the real homie hopper.

Amid all this controversy, Zach’s mother Lisa had her say on why the media pays so much attention to what’s going on with the young QB. “So I am curious, why the media is obsessed with your family? Is it bc he plays for the Jets or bc you live in Utah,” someone asked Lisa on Instagram. She replied, “hahaha, who the hell knows, that is a very good question.”

Lisa posted the conversation on her Instagram story. With what has been happening around Zach in the recent past, the world knows why he is getting all the media attention. Shocking claims by an ex-lover, outpour of contrasting emotions and reactions on Twitter by innumerable fans based on the astonishing revelations about the youngster, it all adds up.

It will be interesting to see if Zach responds to what all has been going around. However, it seems unlikely that he’ll say anything as already he has been hailed by the internet which shocked quite a few people.
