“I’ll opt for Young Buck Joe”: Rob Gronkowski wants to play alongside Joe Burrow
Rob Gronkowski and Joe Burrow
Rob Gronkowski is a force to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The Tampa Bay superstar is considered to be one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the game. Gronk has broken several records in his illustrious career and is a four-time Super Bowl champion.
Rob has a very special connection with Tom Brady. In fact, Rob was picked up by the Bucs after they signed Tom Brady from New England Patriots, giving the duo a chance to once again reunite. Gronk signed a one-year contract extension earlier this year which is all set to end in March.
“I just love his swag”: Rob Gronkowski on Joe Burrow
There has been a lot of speculation about Rob’s retirement, especially after Tom recently called it quits. Rob and Tom made one of the most effective duos in the history of the game. However, it seems like Rob’s attention is now being grabbed by another star quarterback.
During an Autograph NFT Q-and-A, Rob claimed that he is highly impressed by Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow. “I kinda like this young buck quarterback. He’s in the Super Bowl now, It’s Joe Burrow.” Gronkowski said. “I watched him in college. I just love the way he presents himself out on the football field,” Gronk added.
“In the pocket, he’s just so calm, and he just slings it out on the field. I just love his swag, too. If I had to pick a quarterback, it’d be the young buck Joe Burrow. He’s killing it right now in the game,” Rob further added. Indeed, these two will make a very strong duo if they get to play together in the future.
Burrow’s Bengals are all set to take on the Los Angeles Rams at the Super Bowl and we are all expecting it to be a riveting encounter.
