Russell Wilson Posts Cryptic Tweet; Leaves Fans Wondering
Russell Wilson shared an important update for his fans hinting at his return to the gridiron after missing out a few games with a finger injury. The Seahawks quarterback has posted a clever tweet that stated that he had the pin which supported his fractured middle finger removed. He signalled the fact that his rehab is going fine and in a very short span of time, he will return to the field too.
This tweet will also act as a massive reprieve for the fans who were worried after Seahawks’ coach, Pete Carroll told reporters that he had no update when the pin will be removed. Carroll also quoted that it will take a while before Wilson can take the field for the Seahawks who are currently sitting with a win-loss record of 3-5.
This is what Pete Carroll told the press about Russell Wilson
Carroll told the News Tribune, “There’s a pretty clear-cut time frame. They think that it’s going to take a couple of days after that is removed, and then it’s just how he can progress.” He continued, “Really, we are just kind of hoping for the best in terms of his return, that everything is handled really well as we get him in a mode where he starts to use his hand and his finger with the football and all that. We’ve just got to do a good job and see what happens. There’s no updates as of now.”
Wilson has been listed as an injured reserve since October 15th and will be eyeing a 10th-week return even though it is unsure that how we would like to proceed with his resumption. Seattle Seahawks managed to bag a stunning victory over an ailing Jacksonville Jaguars. Geno Smith packed a powerful punch to condemn the Jaguars to their seventh drubbing of the season. Wilson’s tweet was astute and funny at the same time as it would leave readers wondering what would a pin be doing in a giant’s roster.
