Sean McVay the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams became the youngest coach ever to win the Super Bowl as he finally won the ultimate prize after losing to the Patriots couple of years ago. Sean McVay has been the driving force of this Rams team, as since his arrival at the coaching spot he has transformed this Rams team into a legitimate powerhouse in the NFC with all the stars in his team.

The trend of NFL players retiring at an early age during their peak seems to rise and it may take a toll on young head coaches too, Sean McVay has won the Super Bowl already and talks about him considering early retirement in the future are beginning to circulate.

One source close to the coaches in the league said, “I just don’t see in this day and age, with the money for head coaches the way it is and with how it’s been built up over the last 10 years … you’re not going to see coaches coach that long,”

“I know I love football and I’m so invested in this thing…”- Sean McVay

Sean McVay during the Super Bowl weekend talked about himself and what the future holds for him and said, “I know I love football and I’m so invested in this thing, and I’m in the moment right now. But at some point, too, if you said, ‘What do you want to be able to do?’ I want to be able to have a family, and I want to be able to spend time with them.”

This Super Bowl victory for him might play a big factor in what the future holds for him as at some point in the future he will look to settle down, which will be very early as compared to others.

“The burnout factor is very real,” said one longtime NFL coaching agent. “And many of this generation of coaches are more in tune to what would be required of them at home if they want to play a meaningful role in the lives of their kids. I believe there is an evolution of sorts going on with that. I can see that.”
