Kansas City Chiefs had the best game of the entire season against the Bills. The Bills were leading 36-33 when Patrick Mahomes came out on the field with 13 seconds remaining on the clock. He covered 44 yards in 9 seconds to set up a field goal which tied the game. After winning the coin toss, the Chiefs easily scored the touchdown to win the game and advance to the AFC title game.
On Saturday, Cincinnati Bengals crushed the No.1 seed in AFC, Tennessee Titans, 19-16, and will make their first AFC Championship appearance in 31 years. It will be the most action-packed game since the best QBs of the league, Burrow and Mahomes will fight each other to the end for the ultimate glory — Super Bowl LVI.
Can Joe Burrow and Co. defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs once again to enter the Super Bowl?
The Bengals and Chiefs faced each other earlier this season in Week 17. Joe Burrow and the Bengals defeated the Chiefs 34-31 at Paul Brown Stadium. Patrick Mahomes was 26-of-35 for 259 yards and 2 touchdowns. Whereas, Joe Burrow threw for 446 yards and 4 touchdowns.
After the game, Mahomes briefly met up with Burrow. Both the QBs shared mutual respect and admiration for one another. “Great job, a lot of respect man”, said Mahomes. “See y’all in the playoffs.”
Looks like the Chiefs QB already knew they were going to face each other once again in the playoffs. Maybe Mahomes is looking for retribution after losing to the Bengals in Week 17. The Cincinnati Bengals shared the clip of the QBs from Week 17 captioned — “We meet again.”
NFL fans react to the two teams facing each other once again in the AFC Championship game
The Bengals will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs in the AFC title game. It will be interesting to see if the Bengals can actually defeat the Chiefs and head to their first Super Bowl since 1989.
