“He won’t throw a tantrum”: Shannon Sharp reckons people are trying to create a narrative that OBJ will create problems for Rams

Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr, commonly known as OBJ, is a superstar in the world of American football. The man has thrashed several records in his illustrious career. Back in 2016, he became the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 200 career receptions and 4,000 career receiving yards.

However, the 2021 season wasn’t really turning out to be a fruitful one for him when he was with the Browns. In six games for the side, he caught 17 out of 34 targets for 232 yards and wasn’t able to score any touchdowns at all. However, everything changed drastically as soon as he went to the Rams.

OBJ scored three touchdowns in his first three games for the Rams. However, some are opining that he might end up creating problems for his new franchise in the future as his role in the side is very limited and he might not be very happy with it.

Talking about the same, Shannon Sharpe claimed, “Odell wasn’t the problem, he isn’t the problem. He understood what he was getting into. Cooper Kupp is having an outstanding season. He will possibly have the greatest statistical receiving season in NFL history.”

The guy has over 1600 yards, over 120 catches, he has 14 touchdowns, he averages 12 targets a game, he has 20 more targets than any other player in the league,” Sharp stated, adding that it was clear that Odell was never going to rival Cooper for targets.

People are trying to create a narrative that Odell is going to throw a tantrum. Odell is fine, he’s not a problem and won’t become a problem,” he further added. The Rams are on a three-game winning streak and they will like to extend it even further when they’ll take on the Vikings in their next game.
