“The league can’t be happy with what it witnessed at Pro Bowl”: Shannon Sharpe
Although there isn’t a lot of fierce competition involved, fans do look forward to the Pro Bowl as the biggest stars of the league feature altogether in one game. However, this time around, the Pro Bowl turned out to be a rather dry affair with little to no urgency shown by players.
Blasting the authorities for the changed rules and a dismal showdown, Shannon Sharpe made some strong points about the Pro Bowl on Twitter. “Maybe it’s beyond fixing at this point, but either tackle or gm is getting canceled. It’s called tackle football,” he stated.
“The league can’t be happy with what it witnessed yesterday,” Sharpe further added. Indeed, it wasn’t one of the most entertaining games of football. Moreover, the change in rules was needless as it made the overall competition dry and left fans angry and disinterested.
