The Cleveland Browns faced one of the most gut-wrenching defeats against the mighty Green Bay Packers. Despite starting the game in full gear, the Browns lost momentum in no time and one of the reasons behind it was quarterback Baker Mayfield.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Baker Mayfield had the worst game any quarterback could possibly have. The Browns’ QB threw four interceptions in the game out of which, three came in just the first half. As a result, the Browns edged past Packers by just a couple of points.

After throwing one too many picks against Green Bay, Baker Mayfield apologized to his team for his disappointing performance. “I hurt this team,” Mayfield said. “That’s the most frustrating thing for me because I thought our defense played tremendous against a really, really good offense. But when you turn the ball over and give them extra opportunities, they’re gonna take advantage of it. That’s just who they are.”
However Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe feels that apologizing does not compensate for such a performance. “He was terrible”, Shannon said. “He is the reason they lost the game,” he further added.

Despite throwing three INTs in the first half of the game, Mayfield still had the chance to salvage the game. The Browns needed a few yards so that they could win the game over the Packers by kicking a field goal. But Mayfield went ahead and crushed all hopes of the Browns victory by throwing his fourth and last interception of the game. This INT led to the Packers’ victory.
So, when Shannon Sharpe was asked about who he would rather prefer over Baker Mayfield, his response was hilarious. Shannon asked his co-host Skip Bayless, “Would you rather have Russell Wilson or Baker Mayfield?” Skip replied saying he is not sure about Wilson given his performance this year. Shannon Sharpe had an epic response, “Give me Ciara Wilson over Baker Mayfield playing Quarterback.”
After the season Baker Mayfield has had, there are speculations about his future at the Cleveland Browns. There are rumors about the Browns being in the market for a QB upgrade. The Jacksonville Jaguars have the No.1 draft selection again next year. Now, all eyes are going to be glued to the Browns and Baker Mayfield’s situation going into next season.
