Antonio Brown was brought back to Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ squad for their game against the Carolina Panthers after he was suspended a little while ago. He was punished for providing a fake COVID vaccination certificate to avoid the protocols.
Brown was reinstated owing to a lot of injuries in the Buccaneers’ camp. Even though head coach Bruce Arians had a strict zero-tolerance policy, AB was brought back on the behest of Tom Brady. Tampa Bay won 32-6 against the Panthers on Sunday.
“Stop blaming others for your mistakes”: Shannon Sharpe
In the post-game interview, Brown claimed that the reporters are writing bogus articles about him in order to defame the receiver. “It’s all about the drama with you guys”, said Brown. “We can talk about Carolina or I don’t wanna talk to you guys.”
After hearing what AB had to say at the post-game interview, Undisputed co-host, Shannon Sharpe rebuffed him pretty badly. “AB is a clown”, he said. “It’s always somebody else’s fault.” Shannon wonders why AB doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes and move own rather than blaming others.
“You are at fault”: Shannon to Antonio Brown
The Tampa Bay receiver was heard blaming the reporters for writing articles about him which were anything but true according to Brown. “I cannot control what people write about me”, said AB. He said that the media was creating unnecessary drama.
“Everything that’s happened in AB’s life in the NFL, AB is at fault”. Shannon said that the media is not at fault for writing about AB’s transgression. “You creating drama”, said Shannon.
“Bringing AB back was a mistake”: Skip Bayless
Tom Brady targeted Brown 15 times in the entire game. Brown had 10 receives for 101 yards in the win against the Panthers. Brady had Bruce Arians bring back Antonio Brown because all of his star players were inactive due to injuries.
Antonio Brown concluded the interview saying, “Life is about obstacles and persevering and doing what’s right”. “That’s just straight comedy right there”, joked Skip Bayless.
Skip Bayless is disappointed in Tom Brady for bringing back AB. The reason being AB had committed a federal offense by providing a fake vaccination card. “I do not love this”, said Bayless. “AB will not be the reason they go and win a back-to-back Super Bowl. I believe he’s now the biggest reason why they well might not win a Super Bowl”
The Tamp Bay Buccaneers have won their first NFC South title since 2007. All eyes are set on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers to see if they can win a back-to-back Super Bowls.
