Shannon Sharpe fires shots at Antonio Brown for ‘Tom Brady can’t do by himself’ comment
Antonio Brown and Tom Brady
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the Carolina Panthers in their last match of the regular season in which they won by a score of 41-17 led by Tom Brady. Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans played a great game after AB’s departure. It’s already been a week since Antonio Brown stormed out of the pitch in 3rd quarter against the Jets and was later cut from the team but his criticism all around the world has not stopped yet.
He was again mentioned due to the fact that Gronk reached his incentives target with the help of Tom Brady late in the game. Antonio Brown would have also secured his incentives target had he not caused that incident last week.
Former NFL TE and current Fox Sports Analyst Shannon Sharpe said, “This is the way Antonio Brown behaves, AB is like a child, The moment AB can’t get his way, this is what he does.”
“Antonio Brown throws a tantrum” – Shannon Sharpe
Shannon Sharpe said, “I don’t feel bad for the Bucs, I don’t feel bad for Tom Brady because this was the ramifications of your decisions. Because when the Bucs signed AB everybody knew that this day would come in which AB will cause a whole drama and will be released by the franchise.”
He further added, “Everybody got used to this situation and got something in return for it. Telling that Tom Brady needed AB to win the Super Bowl last season which he did and AB needed a chance to show people that he is still good at football which Tom Brady gave him.“
Shannon compared Antonio Brown to a child by saying, “This is the way Antonio Brown behaves, AB is like a child. You’re giving Antonio Brown cookies, ice cream, candy. The moment you say you can’t have one of those 3 things, he throws a tantrum. The moment AB stopped having what he wanted, he caused trouble and was ultimately released from the franchise for his actions.
“Gronk never said a word” – Shannon Sharpe compares Gronk’s incentives to AB’s incentives
Shannon said, “AB had a whole half and another game to get those incentives. AB didn’t cause that whole drama in the 3rd quarter against the Jets he would have achieved his incentives target just like Gronk did late in the game with the help of Tom Brady.”
If Antonio Brown would have played the last game, everybody knew that Brady would have helped Antonio Brown to get those incentives by force-feeding him just like he did last season which would have made everyone happy and the Bucs would have been in a strong position to repeat as the Super Bowl Champs.
