Matthew Ryan has made a name for himself at the biggest stage. The star quarterback played college football for Boston College where he impressed one and all with his performances. Ryan was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as the third overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Recently, the Indianapolis Colts have acquired Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons. As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Colts were desperately looking for a new starting QB after trading Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders. They sent a third-round pick to the Falcons in exchange for the star footballer.

Talking about the trade, Shannon Sharpe claimed that the Falcons did a world of good to Matt Ryan by sending him to a team that is ready to win. Shannon claimed that the Falcons could have easily sent Ryan to a worse team which could have actually paid even more.
