The entire NFL world was left flabbergasted yesterday when it was announced that Russell Wilson had been traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for multiple first-round picks. While there were rumors of trade talks revolving around Wilson, none of them were concrete since Seattle didn’t show any interest in trading him.

That’s the reason why the entire league was shocked to learn about Wilson’s trade to the Broncos. On the talk show Undisputed, co-host Skip Bayless talked about the “steal of the century” as he coined the unbelievable move by Broncos and how this puts them in the Super Bowl race once again.

Skip Bayless said he left like it was all a bad dream and he would soon wake up and realized that that didn’t actually happen after hearing about Russell Wilson’s trade. “It is a quarterbacks’ game,” Skip said. “Listen, seriously there are only a handful of quarterbacks capable of taking a team to the Super Bowl.” Skip said that this new era is completed dependent on a QB. In the earlier days, it was the defense that led a team to the Super Bowl.

“You have to have one of the top-tier QBs to lift you and lead you to a Super Bowl. So, no price is too steep, it just doesn’t matter. Which is why your Denver Broncos just pulled off the steal of the century. This is a flat-out highway robbery of Russell Wilson. The Broncos are way back in business,” Skip added.

With the addition of perennial Pro Bowl QB Russell Wilson, the odds of the Broncos making it to the Super Bowl skyrocketed from a lowly 20-1 all the way up to 12-1. The Broncos have a well-armed arsenal that is way better than the Settle Seahawks.
