The Kansas City Chiefs were up against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round playoff clash and what a game it turned out to be. The Bills were terribly disappointed as they almost had it until Mahomes took it away from them in the final few seconds.
Till halftime, the two teams were evenly poised at 14 points each. After a few ups and downs, the game was turning towards the Bills and then, Mahomes struck big. The last 13 seconds changed the complexion of the contest and in over time, the Chiefs eventually prevailed.
Diggs takes a Chiefs fan down for running on the field mid-game
The Mahomes vs Allen contest turned out to be one for ages. Both the superstars were nothing short of sensational. However, some of the other players weren’t getting the best out of them which apparently frustrated them. Bills’ WR Stephon Diggs took some of the frustration out on one Chiefs fan.
While the game was on and the players were set to go, a Chiefs fan ran brainlessly on the field heading straight to the players. Stephon spotted him and immediately tackled him down. After that, security personnel also came in to ‘escort’ the fan out.
The game was indeed an entertaining one. The Bills tried hard and you got to feel for Josh Allen. However, one has to appreciate the spirit shown by the Chiefs. They held their nerve under pressure and eventually emerged victoriously. Mahomes and Co will next take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
