“He is spectacular”: Stephen A on Ja’Marr Chase
Stephen A Smith recently claimed that Bengals have got their combinations right and have the capability to defeat anyone any day. Talking about Ja’Marr Chase, Stephen said, “I saw this brother Ja’Marr Chase and I knew he was good, I didn’t know this brother was on this level.”
“He is spectacular,” Stephen said, adding that against the Raiders, Joe Burrow threw the first 7 or 8 passes to Ja’Marr Chase, “he didn’t even look for Tee Higgins,” he claimed. Stephen added that football is a schematic game, however, in basketball, it comes down to “here’s what we are going to do, and you can’t do anything about it, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are like that,” he said.
Stephen also claimed that the Chiefs would require a similar effort from Mahomes as he delivered against the Bills. Otherwise, Joe Burrow and the boys from Cincinnati would be way too hard to stop for the Chiefs. “The Chiefs would be scared to death as Ja’Marr Chase is coming, Tee Higgins said yeah I’ll help out, and Joe Burrow said, yeah, I am here and there ain’t a damn thing you can do about it,” Stephen stated.
