10. Hellmann’s Mayo callback to Terry Tate
This commercial totally depends on how much you like Pete Davidson. The ad was a total rip-off of those Terry Tate: Office Linebacker ads for Reebok 20 years ago. Still funny. Then Pete Davidson comes in and says: “I get it. I’m very hittable.”
9. Coinbase’s QR Code
This ad was nothing but a QR code floating around on the screen. If it were 10 seconds commercial no one would’ve given it a second thought. However, it run for a full minute and people had to pull out their phones and see what the QR code was for. Congrats, Coinbase.
8. Lindsey Lohan for Planet Fitness
“What’s Gotten Into Lindsay?” pokes fun at the former child star’s rocky past but also allows her to control her redemption narrative. And the choice to focus on wellness is an added bonus.
7. Irish Spring
The ad gave out weird Midsommar vibes. Still, a cult out to banish body odor is pretty funny.
6. Rocket Mortgage Barbie Dream House
This ad starred Anna Kendrick and talked about how today’s ruthless real estate landscape does have us longing for the good old days of playing with dolls and action figures. “Better Offer Betty”, “Cash Offer Carl”, “House Flipper Skipper” and then the Castle Grayskull appearance at the end.
5. Squarespace’s Sally’s Seashells
The ad has to be one of the favorites since it starred Emmy-winning actress Zendaya. It was totally enjoyable and Andre 3000 kicker at the end elevates it from great to phenomenal.
4. Nissan’s Thrill Driver
Explosions! Stunt driving! And Marvel stars abound, with appearances from Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista. This ad also gave us Eugene Levy and a befuddled Catherine O’Hara. It was like a short 60 seconds action-packed movie. Totally cool!

Even in a Super Bowl filled with star-studded commercials, if the ad stars Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd then it’s totally worth it!
2. Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power trailer
Amazon has invested around $1 billion in this multi-season arcs of this Lord of the Rings prequel series per sources. Generations of Tolkien fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this series. This might be the only commercial loved by everyone as Super Bowl viewers got a first look at The Rings of Power.
1. BMW’s all-electric vehicle, the BMW iX.
Probably the funniest ad of the Super Bowl. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek were Greek Gods Zeus and Hera trying to enjoy life after retirement in Palm Springs. Zeus uses the all-new electric BMW iX to navigate his path from Mount Olympus to Palm Sprigs in this hilarious ad.
