The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were back-to-back Super Bowl titles and they had the momentum with them to turn this dream into reality. They won their Wild Card playoff game against the Eagles without much trouble and were the favorites against the Rams.
However, the Rams came all guns blazing against the Bucs. They were able to achieve a gigantic lead in the first half which pushed the Bucs down. Brady and Co made a magnificent comeback but a final minute lapse allowed the Rams to move further in the tournament.

There were a lot of speculations about Tom Brady’s retirement after this season. Even though he is 44 years old, his stats are enough to prove that he is still one of the absolute best in the business and has a lot left in him. Brady, in the press meet after the contest reflected on the tragic loss.
“The reality of football is, you are one team one year and you are never the same after that. You got to work hard to put yourself in a position to be successful and we certainly worked hard,” Brady said, adding that every team that reaches the final 8, 4, or 2 puts in all they possibly can.
“Doesn’t feel good to lose any of those games and I have lost at each of those stages, so, in the end, there will be only one team that will be happy,” Brady said. He went on to add “It all s*cks to lose in the end.” Undoubtedly, the Bucs had a good run and they can be proud of their performances.
