Tom Brady Makes Herculean Claim On His Future After Eagles Clash

There was a challenge that took social media by storm a few days back and it was called the “then and now” challenge. Ideally, in this challenge a couple of snaps are uploaded in form of a collage where people post their earlier pictures and juxtapose them with their current picture, highlighting the transition that they have been through in the stipulated time frame. However, it is a rare spectacle where a sports icon performs a “then and now” challenge, especially where they show off their picture in the prime thirties and then share a snap in their late or mid 40’s.

Honestly, if one man is heading towards this feat, it can be the legendary quarterback, Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB belted out an audacious statement quoting that he holds the capacity to perform until the overripe age of 55 years. With the overwhelming records in his tally already, he has nothing to prove himself anymore. However, he simply predicted an offing where he was heard saying that he can easily carry on his game for the following decade.

This is what Tom Brady had to say about his future

Going by his statement to Bleacher Report, he was heard citing, “I could literally play until I’m 50 or 55 if I wanted to. I don’t think I will obviously. My physical body won’t be the problem. I think it’ll just be, I’m just missing too much of like with my family.” Being very pragmatic, if there is one man who can pull off this stunt, it has to be Tom Brady. He has been shattering records at 44 as if they are a house of cards simply waiting to be battered down by his arrival.

Brady has been a seven-time Super Bowl Champion and a five-time Super Bowl MVP and his rise from his ashes have been a story that could inspire generations of athletes. He was chosen as the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL draft but that pick itself would have been a history changer as the following decades simply played witness to the rise of one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game.

In the last season, Brady bade adieu to his long-time home, New England Patriots, after a service of two decades and shifted his allegiance to Florida in the preceding year as he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two years that came with a staggering contract of $50 million. In his very first year for the Bucs, he lifted the Lombardi for them as they bagged the Super Bowl LV for the first time since 2003.

The Bucs managed to win their respective game against Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the night as they registered a 28-22 victory in their favour. Tom Brady outclassed his counterpart, Jalen Hurts as he surged for a screaming 297 yards and completed a whopping 34 passes out of the 42, he attempted. He also managed to register two touchdowns and chime in with an interception. He has already shattered the long-time record of Drew Brees as he became the man with the highest passing yardage in NFL’s glittering antiquity with a 28-yard-pass to Mike Evans.
