Ben Roethlisberger is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The superstar quarterback played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 18 long years and guided them to innumerable wins. Not just as a player, Ben led and motivated his unit with perfection.
This season, although the Steelers weren’t at their best, luck was in their favor as they somehow managed to make the playoffs. After they lost in the Wild Card playoff game against the Chiefs, it was evident that Big Ben will announce his retirement from the game pretty soon.

After Big Ben made the decision of his retirement public, tributes started pouring in. Tom Brady, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time also took to Twitter to congratulate Ben for an incredible career. “Ben defied the TB12 Method in favor of the “Throw Some Ice On It” method his whole career,” Tom wrote resharing a video posted byBigBen7.com.
“He ended up an all-time great with 6 Pro-Bowls and 2 Super Bowls. There’s more than one way to bake a cake!” Brady further added. Indeed, Ben has to be appreciated for his undying spirit. He wasn’t the most technically sound or conventional quarterback when in action, however, he found ways to snatch victories from the jaws of defeat.
Moreover, Ben’s association with the Steelers has to be one of the most special ones in the history of the game. There were reports of owners giving Ben way too much liberty to get away with anything, however, the relationship never went sour and Ben retired on a happy note.
