It is time again when the best teams in the league will compete in the 2023 season to win the coveted Lombardi trophy. Before that, though, the two best two teams will have to win another decorative hurdle in the form of conference championships.

Talking about the team with the most victories in their name, the no 1 position is taken by the Dallas Cowboys who also have a history to have won the first two NFC championships in 1970-1971. There is no franchise other than the Cowboys who have won two consecutive NFC Championships three times between 1970 and 1971, 1977,1978, and 1992,1993.
2- San Francisco 49ers (7 Times)
The franchise has a record of 5 Super Bowl victories and 7 NFC titles in its dynasty. The last time the 49ers won the NFC championship was in 2019 with the emergence of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
3- Los Angeles Rams (5 Times)
The Rams are based in Los Angeles and have a record of 5 NFC Championships titles and two Super Bowl titles. They became the second team to play Super Bowl in its home stadium and won in California, taking over the Cincinnati Bengals last year.
T-3 Washington Commanders (5 Times)
With 5 NFC Championships and 3 Super Bowls, this franchise made it to the top 5 among the teams with the most NFC Championship wins. They were previously known as Washington Redskins however adopted their name as Commanders in 2022. It’s been more than three decades since they won the conference title.
T-3 New York Giants (5 Times)
The Giants have won 5 NFC Championship titles and 4 Super Bowl titles to add to their glory. The franchise last won the NFC Championship trophy in 2011 and has struggled in the last decade.
