Cameron Jerrell Newton has made a name for himself on the biggest stage. The NFL career leader in quarterback rushing touchdowns made a comeback to his former franchise in the 2021 season. After spending as many as 9 years with the Panthers, he went to the Patriots in 2020.

However, he again joined the Panthers in 2021 and everyone expected him to regain his lost glory. It would be fair to say that the season turned out to be quite a disappointment for the Panthers and for Newton and now, Cam has got himself involved in a major controversy.

During a recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Newton made a few comments about what women should do and how they should behave. “I grew up in a three-parent household. My mom, my father, and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was. Not a bad b*tch!” Newton claimed as per mediaite.com.

When the host asked what’s the difference, he said, “A bad b*tch is a person who’s just, you know, ‘Girl I’m a bad b*tch, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ I look the part but I don’t act the part,” Newton stated. “There’s a lot of women who are bad b*tches. And I say b*tches in a way, not to degrade a woman but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem is a boss chick,” he continued.

“Now a women for me is, handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. Right? And I think a lot of times when you get that ascetic of ‘I’m a boss bitch, Imma this, Imma that.’ No baby! But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet!” he had stated. After his comments went viral, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Kayla Nicole decided to give him a fitting response.

“I saw the Cam interview and I think it is foolish. I mean if we have to keep having the same tired conversation about the qualities that make a woman a substance. This man said that you need to be able to cook and know when to be quiet because that’s what his mother did.”

She then requested people to stop sending her the Cam Newton article. “I read the article, I saw the interview and I said what I had to say on Twitter,” she claimed.
