Troy Kenneth Aikman is a popular name who has earned a bounty of accolades in his NFL professional career. He is a former American quarterback for the NFL and has played 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Being a child with immense football skills, he first started playing for the high school he was in, which is Oklahoma and even earned all-state honors as his first football recognition.
He followed his dream to be a footballer someday and soon entered the university of Oklahoma for further playing. Being in the university, Troy Aikman turned his interest into what he saw could be the star future for him in the NFL. His rigorous efforts for the sport eventually showed him the map, which he followed to his big NFL dream. Later, Aikman’s transfer to UCLA program led him to win the Davey O’Brien trophy in his senior collegiate year.
Coming out of college, Aikman was selected first overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft. With the team, he won six Pro Bowl selections and also the prestigious three Super Bowl titles that added fame to his name and gave him recognition globally. He was further named MVP of super bowl XXVII which was the franchise’s first in over a decade. Adding to the glory was his induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
After he retired from the NFL, he started his second innings and turned into a color commentator for NFL on Fox from 2001 to 2021. Later, in 2022, he served in the same position for Monday Night Football.

Troy has been famous for his NFL career and has been one of the most desirable and eligible youths according to Texas monthly back then. Back in his days, he dated the sensational country singer Lorrie Morgan. However, their romantic string did not last for long and the love eventually came to an end.
Aikman moved on in life and later married the former Cowboy publicist Rhonda Worthey in 2000 in Texas. The beautiful in Aikman’s life, Worthey had one daughter from his past marriage Rachel. The duo also have two daughters together: Jordan Ashley Aikman and Alexa Marie Aikman. However, this marriage also did not last long, and they divorced in 2011.
After 6 years of divorce, the former QB found love again in high-profile fashion designer Catherine and later shared the news of his engagement on Instagram. Catherine also has two sons from his ex-husband, who is a lawyer Jerry Mooty and is the nephew of the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. In 2017, Aikman and Catherine tied the knot in California and are happily living life with all love.
