“Nobody’s reading this Constitution of a document”: Twitter goes crazy after Erik Burkhardt shares an extra-long statement on Kyler Murray’s behalf
Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray is definitely a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. Back in 2019, he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals and in his maiden season, Murray proved that the franchise made the right call by roping him in as he was named the Offensive Rookie of the year.
Moreover, the Cardinals made the playoffs in 2021 for the first time since 2015 and Murray had a huge role to play in that. However, it felt like the Kyler-Cardinals equation wasn’t working out well. Not long ago, Murray made the headlines when he deleted all his Instagram images in Cardinals gear.
“It’s a dissertation, not a statement”: Twitter reacts after Kyler Murray’s agent posts an overlong statement
This act made everyone believe that his association with the franchise might come to an end very soon. Although Murray took to Twitter to post an image in Cardinals gear with a cryptic note suggesting that he isn’t willing to part ways with the franchise, many felt that it wasn’t enough to repair the damage which was already done.
Most recently, Murray’s agent, Erik Burkhardt released an extra-long statement on Murray’s behalf claiming that Kyler is now looking for a better deal. Although details of the contract Kyler is looking for were not mentioned in the statement, it is clear that Murray wants to get paid better.
“He absolutely wants to be your long-term quarterback. He desperately wants to win the Super Bowl. Actions speak much louder than words in this volatile business,” the statement says. “It is now simply up to the Cardinals to decide if they prioritize their rapidly improving, 24-year-old, already 2x Pro Bowl QB, who led the organization from 3 wins before his arrival to 11-wins and their first playoff appearance in 5 years,” it further read. In addition to this, there was a whole lot more said in the statement.
Twitteratis were actually amazed by the number of lines in the statement issued by Kyler’s agent. The overlong statement drew hilarious reactions on Twitter with many stating that they just couldn’t read the whole thing. Here are some of the reactions.
