“Antonio Brown ruined his legacy”: NFL Twitter responds to Mike Evans being snubbed from the NFL 1st Team All-Pro for over 8 years straight

Mike Evans

Mike Evans is no doubt one of the best receivers in the NFL, what separates him from the pack is that he is consistent every year, before Tom Brady came to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Evans was still balling out scoring TDs. Looking at a receiver like Mike, Tom was more motivated to consider a move to Tampa, Chris Godwin is also a stellar wideout in the team but Evans has been targeted more than him by Brady. The only point of concern for Mike has been his health, the WR has not been available due to injuries but whenever he is on the field, he has balled out.

What is surprising about Mike Evans is that since 2014, he has recorded 76 TDs but he has not been selected to the 1st-team all-pros not even a single time which is ridiculous. Second to him is Davante Adams who has 73 TDs but has been selected twice to the all-pros. Antonio Brown who is no longer in the league has also been selected 4 times to the 1st team all-pros.

“Talk about underrated”: NFL Twitter supports the argument that Mike Evans is extremely underrated

NFL fans had a lot to say about this post, the majority of them were convinced that Evans is an extremely underrated receiver who does not get his flowers. A majority of them believe that if he is healthy, he can go on and reach nearly 100 TDs provided he remains healthy.

Ah, the infamous 500th TD ball of Tom Brady that Mike Evans handed over to a fan.

No argument there, his stats speak for themselves.

That’s a shaky statement, his consistency proves that he is a top WR, some years such as in 2016, his performance should have given him a direct ticket to the 1st team All-Pros.

Nobody’s perfect, if AB was a disciplined player, he would have been the top wideout in the NFL now.

Accurate.

If not for AB, Evans would have gotten a couple more trips to the end-zone.

That is straight-up accurate.
