Donald Parham Jr. is a talented tight end who features for the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL. He was signed by Detroit Lions after he went undrafted in the 2019 draft but was waived off in a couple of days. Currently, Parham is in his second season in the league.
The tight end had three touchdowns during the 2020 season and went into the game against the Kansas City Chiefs with 20 catches for 190 yards. The game ended 34-28 in the favor of Kansas City, however, the moment which made everyone incredibly anxious was the one where Parham suffered a dreadful head injury.

By the looks of it, the injury looked pretty serious as Donald Parham Jr. was stretchered off the field during the first quarter of the game. It all transpired when Parham hit his head on the ground as he was trying to haul in a pass from Justin Herbert in the end zone.
As soon as everyone realized that Parham was finding it extremely difficult to get up, Medical personnel rushed in, removed the facemask from his helmet, and stretchered him off the field. Everyone took a sigh of relief when the Chargers announced that Parham was in stable condition.
Parham’s injury will most probably keep him away from the action for quite a while. In his absence, the Chargers might look to rope in the experienced Jared Cook at the tight end position. The Chargers are set to take on the Texans in their next encounter.
