Twitter Reacts as Drew Brees correctly predicted Tampa Bay’s defeat against the New Orleans Saints

Former New Orleans Saints’ quarterback Drew Brees made an incredible fixture ahead of the NFL encounter between the Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints pulled off a herculean 9-0 victory over their rivals, much against the popular notion that they wouldn’t be able to match up to the strength and quality of their opponents.

While the 9-0 shutout result must have shocked many fans and football pundits, it did not come as much of a news to Drew Brees as he had already predicted a victory for his former side while giving jis predictions for the fixture, going against all the other panel members in a discussion with CNBC.

Drew Brees was the only pandit yo predict a victory for the Saints

In the panel of eight members, all the other seven members, which included Jac, Rodney, Snoop, Florio, Simms, Maria and Tony had all voted for a Buccaneers victory. However, only Drew Brees had foreseen such a result, and he claimed a 10-5 victory for his former side.

While his prediction turned out to be perfect, the margin of victory must have surprised even Brees, as Tom Brady was shut out completely for the first time in 15 years by the Saints. The shut out meant that Drew Brees kept his record of the most number of consecutive matches without a shut out.

Brees’ streak of 304 matches still is a record for the most number of games without a shutout after Brady’s streak of 255 games came to an end against the Saints.
