Jaylen Waddle
The Miami Dolphins haven’t had the most successful or consistent of the seasons. With 9 wins and 8 losses in the season, they are well and truly out of the playoff contention. However, they have managed to finish on a high by winning their latest encounter.
The Dolphins took on the Patriots in their last encounter and scripted a magnificent win. In the first quarter itself, the Patriots were put under extreme pressure by the highly-motivated Dolphins. After taking a massive 14-0 lead in the first quarter, the Dolphins were just too hard to get past for the team from New England.
Jaylen Waddle goes past Anquan Boldin to register most rookie interceptions

One young Wide Receiver from the Dolphins gained a lot of attention for his performance in the game and for ending the season on a high. Jaylen Waddle finished the game against the Patriots with 5 catches for 27 yards and ended up setting the NFL rookie receptions record.
Jaylen took his 102nd of the season in the game. Previously, the record was held by Anquan Boldin who had 101 receptions in his 2003 rookie season featuring for the Arizona Cardinals. Moreover, Waddle became only the second rookie after Boldin to record 100 receptions in the first NFL season.
Jaylen’s incredible performance and a fantastic team effort powered the Dolphins to a morale-boosting win over the Patriots. Although the Dolphins have not made their way into the playoffs, this win would definitely give them the confidence to come back stronger next year.
