Urban Meyer came into the NFL with a lot of mixed opinions about how he would perform in the big leagues. When his stint with the Jaguars came to an end after a short period of time, no one was actually surprised.

Meyer was the Jaguars head coach for 13 games and his team had a record of 2-11 by the time he was done with them. In his defense, there wasn’t too much quality on the roster but he surely didn’t help anything out. In fact, he did the exact opposite time and time again.

A few months back, Urban Meyer was seen at a bar dancing with a woman who wasn’t his wife. Not exactly the best way to kick off his time in the NFL. After that, reports of Meyer kicking Josh Lambo surfaced, and not long after that, he was done in Jacksonville.

As it is, that seems bad enough but a recent report by ‘The Athletic’ showed just how bad Urban Meyer was and how toxic the environment in Jacksonville truly was. What comes as another twist in the tale, Urban Meyer actually claimed he did not know who Aaron Donald was.

As reported by The Athletic, Meyer, during the 2021 season had stated that he was unfamiliar with Aaron and other top NFL stars like Deebo Samuel and Jamal Adams. In fact, according to TMZ, Meyer once actually asked one staff member, “Who’s this 99 guy on the Rams? I’m hearing he might be a problem for us.”

Meyer has been criticized a lot in the past and looking at the news revelations which are being made about him, it won’t be a surprise if he gets criticized even more in the future.
