“His attention is elsewhere”: Veteran NFL coach says Aaron Rodgers isn’t focused enough to win multiple championships

Aaron Rodgers is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. He has been nothing short of fantastic through the years for the Packers and he has led them by example. However, off the field, the man has been involved in a number of controversies.
Recently, some of the things Rodgers has said have done more harm than good to his reputation. His comments on vaccines have almost forced innumerable people to troll and reprimand him. Recently, a veteran NFL coach has stated that Rodgers’ off-field shenanigans are the reason why he isn’t winning championships.

According to Mike Sando of The Athletic, an anonymous coach told him that Rodgers‘ attention mostly stays on stuff off the field which is why he isn’t winning the big games. “Rodgers wants to talk about vaccine mandates and cancel culture, while Brady talks about all ball,” the coach told The Athletic.
“Rodgers loves the standing invite on the Pat McAfee Show and he wants to talk about cancel culture, woke mob and every other thing that doesn’t do anything but splinter and unfocus the group. To me, Rodgers doesn’t show the focus that it really takes to win the multiple championships,” the coach further stated.
It won’t be wrong to say that Rodgers has delivered great numbers on a consistent basis, despite all that he has said and done away from the field. The QB recently hinted towards taking a call on his future with the Packers in February. It will be interesting to see what he finally decides.
