WATCH: Tom Brady pays hilarious tribute to Drew Brees on his Honorary Saints mention
Brees played a staggering 20 NFL seasons spending 15 of them for the New Orleans Saints.

When it comes to iconic quarterbacks, Tom Brady has been savoring a kind of monopoly ever since the valediction of another legend, Drew Brees, who played out his life on the gridiron. Even though Brady managed to rack up all the records which were set by Brees, yet the fact that the latter no longer plays the game has broken the hearts of millions.
As Brees called the Saints-Bills game on Thanksgiving night, the NBC broadcast team chose to honor him on the field at the stroke of half-time. However, while the entire video was playing, there was a guest appearance from another legendary quarterback, Tom Brady, and he left a hilarious message for the king.
Thank you for retiring Drew, don’t ever come back.
Brady said in the tribute video
Drew Brees reciprocated the Saints’ gesture
Brees arrived in New Orleans as the city suffered the brunt of a catastrophic carnage at the hands of Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. In his first season, the Saints finished 10-6 and earned a spot in the franchise’s first NFC Conference Championship game.

Drew Brees also had a message for the beautiful New Orleans.
Thank you to the great city of New Orleans. Thank you to the WhoDat nation, we've experienced so many unbelievable moments in this field and in this city. Thank you so much for embracing me and my family ... We will always love you and we will always work to make you proud.Brees said
As he heard the famous “WhoDat” chants roaring loud, he asked the fans,
Let's make em hear it, the greatest fans of the world ... let's blow the top of this dome and make the world feel it and hear it. Who Dat, Who Dat, Who dat say they gonna beat them Saints.
Brees played a staggering 20 NFL seasons spending 15 of them for the New Orleans Saints while retiring as the sport’s all-time leading passer with 80,358 yards before Brady toppled him from the perch. Brees threw 571 touchdown passes that are the second-highest in the list after Brady’s heroics.
