While Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to a commanding win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens barely managed to hang on to their slender lead over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. The Bills are among the handful of teams left with a 3-0 record, while the Ravens sit at 1 win and 2 losses.

John Harbaugh’s Ravens have a great opportunity to regain their .500 status by beating the Bills, but they could also drop further with a loss. Both sides love the prime-time games.

The Week 4 game will be the Bills’ third of the season but the first one on Sunday. They will have a hard time dealing with Harbaugh’s men, who sit with a 20-3 record since his appointment.

It’s a great chance for the Bills to go 4-0 for the first time since 2020. With teams like the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Seattle Seahawks hot on their heels defeating the Ravens will provide an extra layer of confidence for the players.

Why can the Baltimore Ravens win?

The biggest threat for the Bills will be the linkup between Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry. Jackson’s 245 rushing yards and 7.3 yards per attempt lead the position by a large margin. Despite scoring one rushing touchdown himself, Jackson has helped Henry rush 56 times for 281 yards for 4 touchdowns. The pair ran the ball 53% of the time this year (7th in the NFL). Henry is 30-8 (including his Titans days) while rushing over 100 yards in a game.

Why can the Buffalo Bills win?

If Jackson is the Ace for the Ravens, then Josh Allen is the trump card for the Bills. Allen currently leads the league with a 133.7 quarterback rating, being the favorite for the MVP. The key stat to remember is that Allen so far has avoided any turnovers or fumbles, making it extra hard for defensive coordinators to set plays to counter him.

Similar to the Ravens, the Bills also have a great run game. The Josh Allen and James Cook duo wreaked havoc on the Jacksonville defense. Cook, who has four touchdowns this season after three games, is averaging 100 all-purpose yards from scrimmage. The Bills have run the ball 54% of the time this season (5th-most in the NFL).
