Family plays a vital part in framing a player’s early life and regarding WR Tee Higgins, he was blessed in abundance with Eric Higgins and Lady Stewart. Higgins, who is 23 years old and hails from a town in Tennessee in the United States, was born on 8th January 1999 to this lovely couple.
The WR attended Oak Ridge High School, where he began playing football for the first time. He became more and more interested in the sport. After scoring 68 receptions for 1,044 yards in high school, Higgins decided to attend the University of Tennessee after ranking as a 5-star recruit.
During his university years, he practiced more with the team, winning the game against Alabama and becoming the CFP National Champion, Second Team All ACC, and First Team All ACC. Soon after, Higgins decided to leave the final year and concentrate on the NFL.
The wide receiver was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 33rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, where he signed his first professional rookie contract. His first NFL game was against the Los Angeles Chargers in his debut. The team’s success in the AFC championship game was also helped by Higgins’ receiving skills.

About Eric Higgins and Lady Stewart
Higgins has been more attached to his mother than been with his father. His father, Eric, separated from Higgins’s mother at a very early age when he was still very young to understand it all. Since then, the player is living with his mother with all the love they both could give each other. His Instagram profile has posts about his mother’s immense love and how she fought her past and conquered it all to take care of little Higgins.
After her separation, Lady Stewart was under the influence of cocaine. She was shot in the head by a drug dealer and her boyfriend. Miraculously she survived.
That phase of her life was quite affecting Higgins, and she was unable to take care of him after being hospitalized. However, he was taken care of by his father Eric, and his aunt nurturing him to the best. Higgins’s father passed away back in August 2022, according to some reports. He last gave his appearance to support his son, along with Lady Stewart, on the field for the Super Bowl LIV game.
