Jakobi Meyers has four years of professional football experience and plays well as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots. However, his recent game loss against the Raiders led him toward an emotional outpouring in the post-game conference.
Meyers was born in the town of Lithonia, part of Georgia, US, where he also attended High School. In High School football itself, he started gaining attention, ranked as the 53rd dual-threat QB by ESPN. Later on, he pursued College football, attending North Carolina State University till 2018.
His college football stats of 168 receptions for 1,932 yards and 9 touchdowns were so promising that made him enter the NFL draft in 2019, in his junior year. The team New England Patriots had eyed Meyers as their future star and signed him as an undrafted free agent. His first season gave him his first career win against the Detroit Lions. Season after season Meyers recorded the best games and started gaining more fans each year.
Meyers signed an extension with the team and will be seen in the Patriots’ uniform further.
