“Who the hell is Mina Kimes?”: Jeff Garcia, former 49ers QB thrashes ESPN’s analyst for her take on Jimmy Garoppolo’s ‘contribution’ to the team’s victories in the playoffs

It seems that Mina Kimes’ criticism of Jimmy Garoppolo has attracted a lot of backlashes. Jeff Garcia, former San Francisco QB, took a dig at Kimes on her statement about Jimmy G.
Garcia expressed his ire on an Instagram post that has since spread to Twitter. Gracia played for the 49ers from 1999 to 2003, appeared to take issues with Kimes’ analysis on a game she’s never played.
Jeff Garcia is vexed after Mina Kimes criticises Jimmy G on his poor playoff performace

“Who the hell is Mina Kimes and when is the last time she threw a touchdown pass in a game? NEVER! EVER! Has she taken a snap or can truly understand the ability, the mindset and the physical and mental toughness, that it takes to play the QB position or any position in the NFL”, Gracia wrote in an Instagram comment.
“The fact that there are people out there given a platform to talk about something that they have never done is hilarious and that’s how you have to look at her, she’s a joke! So let’s just laugh at her and support Jimmy, root on our Niners to go out and beat the living f— out of one more team. That’s what it takes. She will never know that feeling. Can I get an AME? Peace.”
Mina Kimes simply stated the obvious that Garoppolo hasn’t contributed to the 49ers’ victory on the show ESPN show First Take. “Jimmy Garoppolo isn’t the reason they’re winning. “They’re winning with him, but not because of him. He posted the second-lowest QBR in 15 years [against the Packers],” said Kimes.
Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t thrown a single TD pass in both the playoff starts this season. He was only 11-for-19 in the narrow victory over the Green Bay Packers, in which he threw a pick and was sacked four times. Many analysts have pointed out that Jimmy G has tried to throw the game many times.

Jeff Garcia might have gone a little overboard in his comment. Mina Kimes didn’t deserve such a harsh response to her criticism of Jimmy Garoppolo.
The 49ers will travel to SoFi Stadium to face the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game on Sunday night.
