“We’ll just get each other better” Xavien Howard claims Tyreek Hill joining the Dolphins will take his game to the next level

Xavien Howard recently shared his excitement about his Miami Dolphins bringing in Tyreek Hill. He believes having an elite receiver like that on his team will help him improve his own game along with Hill’s.

The Dolphins were looking to turn their offense around and desperately needed new talent to do so. So, they made the blockbuster trade to get Tyreek Hill. For their new superstar, they sent Kansas City 5 draft picks, their 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounders from 2022 along with their 4th and 6th rounders from 2023.

What the Dolphins are getting is a receiver that has put up more than 1200 receiving yards in the past 2 seasons and set a career-high for receptions in 2021 with 111. They wanted to get a real X-factor on offense and now they have that in Tyreek Hill, and him combined with Jaylen Waddle and Mike Geisicki makes that offense truly deadly.

Opposing cornerbacks are really going to have their hands full trying to slow down this offense and that includes the Dolphins’ corners in practice. Xavien Howard is looking forward to it, however.

Xavien Howard recently spoke about Tyreek Hill during a press conference and was quoted saying “I’ve got to get my hammies right because we’ve got a lot of speed over there.”

Howard further added “I think we’ll get each other better. I played against him in college and also in the league. I just want to focus on getting each other better. That’s really it.”

Xavien Howard recently signed a massive 5-year extension with Miami and it seems that’ll be a good move for him as things are finally trending upwards on south beach. With how the defense has been in the past few seasons, the offense taking a step up could mean that the Dolphins will have a very realistic shot at the playoffs in the coming years.
