Advocating in the Bucs QB’s favor, Emmanuel Acho on Speak For Yourself said that Tom Brady should be named the league MVP. “I don’t want to have to use division symbols to figure about who my NFL MVP should be”, said Acho. “I don’t wanna have to talk about win percentages.”

Acho said that bringing up win percentages in the MVP discussion brings up the issue of how many games the player has won versus how many he played. “Everybody gets to play 17 games y’all. So if you played less than somebody else, that’s on you.” The reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers has missed 2 games this season. Acho said that Tom Brady has played every game and has performed like his legendary self the entire year.

“I wanna talk about these real, raw, and digestible numbers. Because as soon as you start to talk about percentages, passer ratings, those aren’t the raw numbers”, said Acho. “Tom Brady outdid Aaron Rodgers in all raw numbers and he was equal to Rodgers in the win-loss number.” The 44-year-old QB has led the Buccaneers to 13-4 wins-losses this season same as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

Additionally, Brady leads the NFL in passing yards (5316 yards) this season. He also leads in completions, attempts, touchdowns, yards per game, and passing first downs. Many believe that Tom Brady has shown his dominance this season and he truly deserves the MVP. Bucs Head Coach, Bruce Arians said, “If he doesn’t get it, it’s a travesty“, on Brady winning the MVP.
