“Dreams of winning the Cup” – Avalanche defenceman Cale Makar enjoys slumber party with Stanley Cup
Cale Makar has slumber party with Stanley Cup
Colorado Avalanche defenceman Cale Makar, the 2022 Stanley Cup, and also the Conn Smythe Trophy winner arranged a slumber party in his home, to spend some quality time alone with Lord Stanley.
Though we don’t know what chit-chat went on between those two, Makar couldn’t be happier to have his best friend for a sleepover. Before his celebratory day began, he had a long and quiet night with the Stanley Cup in his childhood room.
Fans gather around Cale Makar to see the Championship Cup
We did see some crazy things that the Cup handled while visiting the players, and Makar also signed up his name to the list, as noted by nhl.com. He had his pancake breakfast out of the Cup bowl while relishing every bite of it.
Not only did he scoop out pancakes, but they were specially made by Makar himself, which made this breakfast all the more special. Later according to his schedule, he made a short stop for Slurpee along with his brother Taylor.
The Cup then visited Cale Makar’s childhood rink, Crownchild Twin Arena, where a long queue waited to see the championship Cup and pose for pictures with it. Though its sad to see the Conn Smythe Trophy being left alone at homeAlso
