Evander Kane’s ex-wife reveals forward once called Connor McDavid’s girlfriend “ugly and disgusting” during furious online banter.

Evander Kane and his ex-wife Anna’s divorce filing was not a pretty game, especially with child custody in question. The couple got married in 2018 and filed for divorce in July 2021 with several accusations from both parties. 

The case was deemed to be over, but Anna in recent online fury revealed the forward’s comments and blasted Oilers for signing him to a 4-year $20.5 million contract. She revealed that Kane talked smack about Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid’s girlfriend Lauren Kyle.

As per Anna’s post, she said Kane labeled Kyle as “ugly and disgusting”. She further said that he couldn’t believe how ‘The Chosen One’ had been dating Kyle for so long.

“He used to tell me how ugly and disgusting he thought Lauren was and how he couldn’t believe she was his gf.”

She further questioned McDavid on how he has not yet voiced against Kane’s behavior, “Now he is jealous of you and smiles in your face?” Anna further recalled calling Lauren Kyle “gorgeous”, stating “maybe he (Connor McDavid) really loves her.”

The online melee took another turn when Evander Kane’s ex-wife Anna called out Edmonton Oilers. She said the team would never win a game unless they traded forward to another team.

“You HIRED a man that STOLE my child from me!!!!! This is your karma. You will never win until you get rid of him.”

Furthermore, she said that they knew what Kane was doing both professionally and during the divorce case, yet they chose to remain silent about it all.

“You guys know what he was doing and all looked the other way, shame on you as an organization.”

Her anger comes with Kane being the guardian of their only daughter Kensington Ava Kane. Following their divorce, the court handed the guardianship role to Evander Kane. According to TMZ, Kane was granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife after she allegedly “dangerously swung around their baby daughter”.

Anna did not take court orders in a positive way which led her child to be away from her. She alleged Kane of physical and verbal harassment, sexual abuse, pointing a gun at her, cheating, and gambling. Kane denied all claims and due to insufficient proof, the judge ruled in favor of Kane. 

Currently, the Oilers forward is seeing his ex-girlfriend Mara Teigen again. Anna stated that Mara was pregnant with Kane’s child. Shortly in 2023, Mara and Kane did a gender reveal for their third child with the help of McDavid. Kane is now the father of three children namely – Kensington Ava Kane, Iverson Frank Kane, and their newborn baby Hendrix Frank Kane.

Moreover, with the 2023-24 regular season going on, fans are wondering if McDavid will face Kane head-on following the accusation towards his girlfriend Lauren Kyle or if will they have a personal faceoff later. Anna and Kane’s custody case seems to be re-surfacing with the former keen to reveal details to the public.
