NHL Alumni at the New York Stock Exchange as ‘ex-Rangers’ chime the opening bell

The NHL 2022-23 season is staring right upon us with the preseason games to end on 8th October. The exhibition matches in preseason were quite eventful as the majority of teams went global in order to spread the game and give the fans an experience worth remembering.
The Colorado Avalanche had their Stanley Cup victory after two decades. Their title defense will be more and more daunting as the other 31 teams are coming in all fresh and reinforced after an exciting transfer season that saw lots of teams signing and offloading players as per their needs.
The NHL is ready for a fire-packed season
In a first, ex-New York Rangers players such as Henrik Lundqvist, Mike Richter, and Adam Graves were quite ecstatic as they shared their feeling about ringing the opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange. Henrik who was seen waving the towel with vigor, surely couldn’t control how blissful he was feeling at the event. Mike and Adam too were filled with blush as they clapped and waved toward the crowd.
Later in the day, Lundqvist was filmed signing the wall which featured every person who has had the honor of ringing the bell before. It was quite the day for ice-hockey fans in general as it’s a big gesture for them to be part of this. The season starts with the Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks playing their game in Prague as part of the NHL Global Series 2022.
The regular 2022-23 NHL season is set to kick off on October 11 in North America b/w New york Rangers who host the stars from Tampa Bay Lightning. The champions Colorado Avalanche will start their title defense the following day when they go head to head with Chicago Blackhawks.
