St. Louis Blues netminder Jordan Binnington once again restored to his crazy on-ice antics during a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Blues lost 6-2 and is now standing with a record of 11-13-0 in the NHL season. When Jordan’s on his top play, there are only a few of his peers who can match up to that level of play.
Unfortunately, it seems, that Jordan has no intention of changing his ways of playing, especially after his bout with Penguins winger Jason Zucker. He’s been in terrible form this season standing with a record of 9-10, with a .895 save percentage. Even his team is now getting fed up with his antics, especially Blues coach Craig Berube.
Jordan has always had anger management issues, but with time it’s getting more out of control. After allowing 3 goals during the first period, Jordan clipped Zucker as the winger was circling around the net. The dangerous move resulted in the 30-year-old winger crashing into the boards.

Thankfully, Zucker didn’t get seriously hurt as he went on to have his sweet revenge later in the game. Even after this incident, Jordan wasn’t penalized for his actions. Blues coach Craig tired of his unreasonable actions commented, “It’s got to stop. It doesn’t help anything”. “Just play goal, stop the puck.”
In 2nd period, in under 2 minutes, Zucker scored a goal that would have been easy for Jordan to stop, but he couldn’t. The goal gave the Penguins a 4-1 lead to chase the Blues goaltender, who allowed 4 goals on 17 shots. Things would have ended after the embarrassment the goaltender faced, but it was far from over.
Shortly afterward, Jordan slid past the Penguins’ bench taunting Zucker who couldn’t care to be amused. This attitude cost the netminder a 10-minute misconduct penalty for his actions. Jordan can be considered annoying for his opponents, but now he’s gone too far after affecting the whole team and the coach.
Prior to the game against the Penguins, Jordan Binnington tried to hit Jordan Staal, the Carolina Hurricanes captain, behind his net. The incident made the NHL fans furious, as this was extremely rude and a dangerous thing to do. This incident too could have cost the Penguins winger a place in the IL, thankfully he got out of it alive.
When many people thought this would be the end of the crazy night, things took a different turn. After getting called up by the Blues, Thomas Greiss, Jordan’s replacement slipped and fell on ice as he prepared to take his position. Some fans commented that the netminder might need some anger management training, before stepping foot on ice again.
