After months of speculation regarding his future, three-time Stanley Cup winner Patrick Kane finally has another home. The future Hall of Famer has now signed a one-year deal and joined the Detroit Red Wings.

The 35-year-old veteran is regarded as one of America’s best hockey players. The return from the hip injury is not going to be easy but that is something he is willing to overcome. He has already made his intentions clear and has been reported to have taken over the number 88 jersey from Daniel Sprong. As per NHL insiders, Sprong graciously gave away his number to Kane as a sign of respect towards him. How will Kane perform in Red Wings now is something that remains to be seen.
