“Proud of Your Boy” – Ryan Murray and Mr. Stanley Cup get their own billboard in White City, Saskatchewan

On Thursday, Colorado defenceman Ryan Murray brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown, White City, Saskatchewan. Celebratory events were held all throughout the day to welcome both the champion and Lord Stanley with all their glory.
Very appropriately, the White City queued the song, “Proud of Your Boy”, and congratulated Ryan by getting a billboard of his and the Cup in the city.

It didn’t take long for the Colorado defenceman to pose next to the billboard with the Stanley Cup in hand. Needless to say, fans got their turns to take photos with both the stars.
The billboard stated, as noted on nhl.com, “Welcome to White City. Proud home of Stanley Cup champion Ryan Murray.” But the tent and the billboards weren’t the only stops that Ryan made.
He also took a little detour and visited the Regina General Hospital, in Regina with the Cup. The billboard depicted Ryan Murray’s accomplishments like the 2016 World Championship gold medal, 2012 Draft selection, and his 2022 Stanley Cup Championship.
All throughout the summer, the Stanley Cup has been traveling non-stop from one gorgeous place to another, meeting the players, their beloved ones, and the local people. And the tour continues…
