Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby and Colorado Avalanche alternate captain Nathan Mackinnon crack up as they deliver coffee at Tim Hortons. Crosby who is known as a serious guy doubles on his giggles as NHL fans amuse themselves looking at their clumsy work.
Both players mess with Tim Hortons customers as they ask hockey questions, and play guessing games with them. Nathan laughs at Crosby’s clumsy coffee-pouring techniques as the latter only giggles. There’s never been a moment where Crosby has smiled so much to the fans’ delight.
They were also seen playing with kids and puppies featuring Tim Hortons’ new ad campaign. The campaign focused on showing children how fun the sport is, as according to reports 67% of parents think hockey is too serious for kids their age.

During their Tim Hortons’ day, Sidney Crosby asks customers to name a player from Nova Scotia. Much to their surprise most people name Crosby as Nathan dwells in distress. It was priceless to see Nathan Mackinnon’s face as it lights up when a customer names him.
Their guessing game continues, as Crosby asks a woman who she’ll rather choose to be stranded on a desert island between him and Mackinnon. Without knowing, the woman answers it’s Crosby as “Nate’s too young” for her age.
As Crosby laughs at the reply, Nathan surprises the woman as he delivers her coffee. Even then, he gets rejected for being too young. Nate grumbles that he is only young by heart but mature in mentality. Their fun day ended up with Crosby getting the most wins, as Nathan smiles looking at him.
Tim Hortons’ coffee branch has made immense contributions to the game of hockey. They have created situations where the fans could interact with their favorite players and give back to the community. Crosby has been part of their campaigns quite a few times.
Tim Hortons’ new commercial also made it possible for Crosby and his teammate Eric Neilson to reunite with the Rimouski Oceanic fans from 2005. On their way from the return, Crosby and his group saw a bunch of fans waiting for their tickets amid the stormy icy winter.
Apparently, the fans have been waiting there for 18 hours. Crosby wanted to do something for them, so he brought coffee and snacks for all present that day. His warm gesture has not been forgotten even now. The fans reunited with their favorite players once again with Hortons giving them the opportunity to do so.
