Erik Johnson gave Stanley Cup an exciting wake-up call at the slip ‘n’ slide
On social media, the Avalanche posted short videos and clips of Johnson‘s day with the Cup, one of which was him tightly holding the Stanley Cup while sliding down the super-long blue water mat tail.
He did an amazing job at keeping the trophy above his head so as not to hit it on the floor, as he slide down the line. Good core strength though! After the Cup exciting day started, Erik Johnson hit the roads and stopped by the Cherry Hills Police and Fire station first.
He also made sure to take awesome pictures of the Cup and himself with the fans. He even allowed them a bit of time to interact with The Greatest Trophy in All of Sports. During the first half of the day, he also stopped at the Del Mar Racetrack.
