WWE is currently on tour of the UK, covering cities like London, Manchester, and Nottingham. The tour also features some of the company’s biggest stars, including WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. The Samoan has been defending her title against Bayley on all four nights of the tour so far. All these matches were held as street fights, and some hilarious moments occurred during their face-off in Newcastle.
The Irresistible Force successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Bayley. However, she was so battered by the end of the match that she continued to lay on the ring apron. WWE referee Dan Engler tried to carry her in his arms. However, he collapsed almost immediately after lifting her, and Jax took a shot at him on social media.
Nia Jax also shared a clip from the same match on her Instagram story. Earlier during the match, the 40-year-old could be seen putting tape around the same referee. Later on social media, she said that Dan Engler, commonly known as Rudy, was always trying to ruin her fun.
Jax does not have a great relationship with WWE referees. During her recent match at Bad Blood against Bayley, she slammed the referee, Jessika Carr, and fell on top of her. Thankfully for her, she still successfully defended her Women’s Championship after interference from Tiffany Stratton.
Wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman believes Nia Jax is still dangerous and may injure Liv Morgan
As announced by Triple H at Bad Blood, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax will face Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel Championship. The two champions got into a kerfuffle on the latest episodes of SmackDown and Raw. While many fans are looking forward to this match, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman has his concerns.
Speaking on Behind the Turnbuckle, Coachman revealed that he was afraid Jax might legitimately hurt Morgan at Crown Jewel. While this obviously won’t be intentional, he believed that she is still a dangerous worker in the ring.
During her first run with the company, Jax was regarded as a highly dangerous worker, and for good reason. During her matches, she has injured superstars like Bayley, Kairi Sane, and most infamously, Becky Lynch. However, since her return to WWE, such a situation has not presented itself. Furthermore, she also seems to have won over the fans with her improved work.
