Nick Kyrgios has been the most high-profile and outspoken critic of Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek‘s respective doping cases. The Australian star has continued on that same path. However, this time around, he agreed with top journalist Jason Goodall about the lack of transparency from the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).
In August, the ITIA revealed that Sinner avoided a ban for twice testing positive for clostebol on March 10 and 18. The 23-year-old was only stripped of his 400 ranking points and $320,000 which he earned at the Indian Wells Masters. In November, the ITIA announced that Swiatek had received a one-month suspension after failing a drug test.
The former World No. 1 had to forfeit her 390 ranking points and $159,000 she earned for reaching the semifinals of the Cincinnati Open. However, these two cases have received mixed reactions from the tennis community.
Recently, an X user posted a conversation on the Tennis Channel. In the video, top journalist, Jason Goodall revealed that the lack of transparency of both cases makes him worry.
Kyrgios, who has also shared the sentiments about the cases, gave a one-word reaction to the post.

Nick Kyrgios gives frank response to fan following criticism over controversial statement
Earlier this week, Nick Kyrgios said that Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz do not have the same aura as the Big 3. The Australian star pointed out that Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic were the best of their generation and that Sinner and Alcaraz are still in the early stages of their careers.
The comment from the former World No. 13 received huge criticism from fans on social media. Recently, he responded to one of the critics, by stressing that slamming the media for posting certain parts of his quote and not providing the entire context.
No context here at all lol. Media is in a bad spot that’s for sure. Compared to Novak , Federer, Nadal they are yet to have the aura that they have. They will for sure get there but realistically they are kids doing insane things. Do better. Potatoes. https://t.co/L0ME99MxuV
