Nick Kyrgios still hasn’t forgiven Jannik Sinner for failing two drug tests as he continued to blame the Italian. In his latest jibe, Kyrgios took a sarcastic dig at Sinner while replying to Piers Morgan‘s post slamming the 23-year-old.

Morgan wrote, “after failing TWO drugs tests. (Fixed it for you),” as a response to the US Open’s X handle that congratulated Sinner, who defeated America’s Taylor Fritz in straight sets in the US Open final. Kyrgios, who from the very beginning has been censuring Sinner, wrote sarcastically about how, for the first time, a player won a Grand Slam despite failing two drug tests.

The report of two failed drug tests came out a day after Sinner won the Cincinnati Masters. In the report published by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), Sinner was cleared of any wrongdoing as the banned steroid called clostebol accidentally entered his body through Giacomo Naldi, the physio with whom Sinner parted ways.

Naldi used a spray containing clostebol to heal a wound on his finger and as he massaged Sinner, the steroid entered Sinner’s system due to skin contact. Amid criticism from all corners, Sinner ended his partnership with Naldi as well as Umberto Ferrara, who used to be his fitness coach and who purchased the spray from Italy. Kyrgios even questioned why Sinner decided not to work with Naldi and Ferrara much earlier.

This title means so much to me. The last period of my career was really not easy. I have a team supporting me every day. The people who are close to me. I love tennis. I practice a lot for these kinds of stages.
Jannik Sinner said after the match

Sinner has won six titles on the ATP Tour this year, including the US Open and his maiden Grand Slam victory at the Australian Open. He has now solidified his status as the World No. 1, which he became for the first time after the French Open.
