Nick Kyrgios is often at the receiving end of criticism because of his unflinching beliefs. He is not ready to forgive Jannik Sinner for escaping a ban despite failing a drug test twice. Because of his scathing remarks, he has been trolled frequently by Sinner’s supporters.

Kyrgios is in Brisbane where he made his much-awaited comeback after a long injury layoff. After coming out on top in the first official match- a doubles clash with partner Novak Djokovic against Alexander Erler and Andreas Mies– Kyrgios was lauded for his singles match he played against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

The Frenchman, one of the best servers in the world right now, took more than two hours to beat the comeback man with a scoreline of 7-6(2), 6-7(4), 7-6(3). Kyrgios however endured pain on his wrist during the match and took a medical timeout after the first set. He taped his wrist and was ready to play again.

The picture of Kyrgios suffering from wrist pain was shared by a Sinner supporter on X. The user took a sarcastic dig at Kyrgios by saying how the Aussie, while on the sidelines, wasted his time typing on his phone to criticize Sinner and it culminated in him suffering from wrist pain.

Kyrgios noticed the tweet and slammed Sinner once again as he replied with, ‘Not enough clostebol’, implying that he did not take the banned drug to play. Kyrgios in his next tweet wrote, ‘How did he do that?’ which he ended with an injection and a laughing emoticon when the user mocked him by saying how Sinner eclipsed Kyrgios’ career in less than a year.
