Nick Wright ready to welcome Tyreek Hill back to the Chiefs amid unrest rumors in Miami

The Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs are in a tricky situation. Call it a situation similar to a couple in a relationship breaking up, moving onto a different bond, and then realizing that their chemistry in the first relationship cannot be replicated.
With Tua Tagovailoa out for a month, Tyreek Hill is stuck with Skylar Thompson as his quarterback. After witnessing that backward pass which ultimately resulted in a turnover, the wideout must be reminiscing his old days when he had Patrick Mahomes as his QB.
It has been no easy ride for Patrick Mahomes either as Rashee Rice’s injury in Week 4 is likely to sideline him for a month in the best case or the remainder of the season. This means Mahomes has slim pickings in his receiver room. FS1’s Nick Wright believes that the Kansas City Chiefs must pounce at the opportunity to entice the Miami Dolphins and make a trade for Tyreek Hill.
I would break so many of my other rules about team building to go for a three-peat because they’ve hit on so many of the young defensive players in the draft. I feel like if you had to give up a first (round) and a third (round draft picks) for Tyreek Hill, they could sustain and they could make it work financially and then even if you get amazing Rashee Rice, all of a sudden, you have a dynamic receiving core out of thin air.

Nick Wright understands the possibility of the Dolphins being open to trading Hill is very low, but if that is an option on the table, then the Chiefs must take it. The analyst believes that Kansas City can afford to give up a couple of draft picks and sustain the financial hit that bringing Hill back will cause.
Tyreek Hill is not interested in returning to the Kansas City Chiefs
The jury’s still out on Rashee Rice. His medical diagnosis will not come out until Monday and until then, there is no way to know if he is out for a few weeks or the entire season.
But the Chiefs have to be quick, and if they were to assume the worst, then they need to bring another wideout on-board.
Despite their 4-0 record so far this season, Kansas City has struggled offensively. Rashee Rice has been Patrick Mahomes‘ go-to target and if he is out, then it would leave Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce as the only starting options. Kelce has struggled to get things going this season, but things seem optimistic after his 89-yard showing against the Chargers.

From Miami’s perspective, if the team opts to put Tyreek Hill on the trading block, they would effectively be “waving the white flag on the season” as Nick Wright put it. If the top wideout is gone, then the team will hope to stay afloat this season but focus on rebuilding and strategizing for next year.
The Dolphins are unlikely to do that because just a few months after signing Tua Tagovailoa to a long-term deal, it makes no sense to trade away his best weapon. Besides, Tyreek Hill has made it clear that he loves the situation in Miami.

Tyreek Hill told the media
He has no reason to be disappointed, after all, he has already won a Super Bowl, and he goes to sleep at night comfortably knowing he is one of the highest-paid wideouts in the league.
As much as Kansas City fans hope and pray that Tyreek Hill is back alongside Patrick Mahomes, it is very unlikely that the Miami Dolphins are going to pick up the phone and hear their offer. Players such as Tyreek Hill are pieces that teams do not move unless they are compelled to, and Miami remains optimistic about Tua returning and salvaging this season.
