Having staged a pro wrestling boom in the 1980s, Hulk Hogan remains a household name to date. However, his public image has deteriorated over the years owing to his affinity for racism. He isn’t a celebrated figure among pop-culture artists either, which is why rapper Nicki Minaj took offense to being compared to The Hulkster facially.
Earlier today, she was live on Instagram. One of the comments saw a fan calling her a Hogan lookalike. She was genuinely pissed at it to the point that she cursed on camera before blocking that fan. The Trinidadian singer sounded like she’s harbored a ton of aversion for Hulk for a long time. The wrestling great has constantly been in the news this year due to his political cameos.
Hogan has rendered his allegiance to Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 US Presidential Elections. Back in July, the retired wrestler took center stage at the RNC to deliver a fiery speech in favor of Trump and VP candidate JD Vance. Hogan even ripped his blazer off in classic fashion to unveil a Trump-Vance custom tee that he was wearing underneath.
Hogan said he almost ad-libbed his entire address as the scripted rehearsals didn’t please him. In August, the WWE Hall of Famer was under fire for making racially insensitive remarks about Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Hogan was at a bar in Ohio to promote his new beer.
After getting the crowd to look up to him, he brought up Harris, asking if he were a chameleon. The Immortal One even questioned Kamala’s Indian roots, saying he’d body slam the 60-year-old politician. Former WWE star Top Dolla later rebuked The Hulkster for his disgraceful words.
Hulk Hogan reveals his reaction to Donald Trump’s assassination incident
Months ago, Hulk Hogan‘s hero, Donald Trump, escaped an assassination attempt at an open rally in Pennsylvania. That incident set the political world ablaze, engendering countrywide chaos in the US. Hogan, just like other pro-Trump supporters, was heartbroken at what had transpired.
Speaking on the PBD podcast, the 78-year-old lamented the Trump killing conspiracy that could’ve left the former POTUS dead on the spot. Hulk said Donald is trying to help the millions of people in America.
And when he heard of Trump having his right ear pierced by the bullet, Hogan couldn’t handle it. Recently, when the 45th US prez was on The Undertaker‘s Six Feet Under podcast, he opened up about The Rock reaching out to him after the failed assassination attempt.
